Cedar Stars Academy left an indelible mark in our maiden appearance at the prestigious Gothia Cup 2025, finishing third in the Gothia Puma Trophy (B17) and proudly bringing home a bronze medal.

The Forever Green boys were fearless from the start, finishing top of Group 2 with 7 points after facing top opposition—IFK Norrköping and IK Sirius FK from Sweden, and FC Dinamo Bucuresti 1948 from Romania.

In the knockout rounds, we battled past IFK Göteborg (3-2) in the Round of 16 and powered to a dominant 6-2 win over Peruvian side Cantolao, AD in the quarterfinals.

Our inspiring run however, came to a halt in the semifinals with a narrow 2-1 loss to Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas in a fiercely contested match.

Cedar Stars Academy ended the tournament with an outstanding record: 6 games played, 4 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss, 15 goals scored and just 6 conceded.

For a team making its debut on such a global stage, it was nothing short of exceptional.

Congratulations to the team for outstanding feet.
