The dream of Turkish league 1 side Balikesirspor to gain promotion into the elite division is gradually coming alive with the help of Ghanaian youth Striker Kwame Karikari who aided his team in their 3-0 thrashing of Denizlispor over the weekend.

Kwame scored the 3rd goal and made an assist to the 2nd goal.
Mohammed Reis and Burak Calik scored in the 36th and 77th minutes respectively to give Balikesirspor a 2-0 lead.

Reis’ goal was purely the work of Karikari who tailored a great pass for him to finish off.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian who once played for Inter Allies FC blasted home a ferocious drive from 20 yards to register the third goal in the 80th minute for the newly promoted Turkish Lig. 1 side that are bent on securing promotion into the elite division this season.

The AIK Solna loanee grabbed his fourth goal of the season and he is on top of the top-scorers chart as he has so far played a crucial role in Balikesirspor’s early season success.
