Inter Allies FC were handed a painful 1-0 defeat at the Gyamfi park in Bekwai during the mid week premier league fixture. Referee Fred Andoh and his linesmen marred the beauty of the game in the 2nd half with bais officiating that left the Allies players frustrated.
The numerous unqualified free kicks awarded to Edubiase around the Inter Allies goal area finally paid off and Edubiase’s James Boadu got the only goal in the game after a goalmouth melee about 20 minutes to full time.
The Ghana Football Association’s good gesture of sending a cameraman to capture all games across the league centers to expose bad officiating, crowd violence etc. before, during and after matches is a step in the right direction. The PLB must get a copy of the game to see the shameful act of Fred Andoh and his linesmen and sanction them to prevent future occurrences.
