Match Report: Inter Allies 3 -0 Monaco FC

Inter Allies FC continued their impressive form in the Volta Regional FA Division Two League with a hard-earned 3-0 victory over Monaco FC in our Match Day 17 encounter.

The Capelli Boys started brightly, applying immediate pressure on their opponent.

Our attacking intent paid off early on, with Samuel Boakye finding the back of the net in just the 3rd minute.

While Monaco FC responded with increased aggression, we remained composed and resolute to our game plan.

Our quality showed as Malik Abubakar capitalized on a well-developed opportunity, slotting home the team’s second goal in the 23rd minute putting us firmly in control.

The second half presented a different challenge as heavy rain hampered the playing surface making passing and ball control difficult.

Adapting superbly, our bench switched tactics, utilizing long balls to trouble the Monaco FC’s defense.

This tactical shift proved successful, allowing us to dominate possession in the opponent’s half and create opportunities.

Gideon Adjei capped off a strong team performance with the third goal in the 76th minute, securing us a well-deserved victory.

This convincing win keeps us firmly in contention for winning our zone and qualifying for the playoffs.
