The Chief Executive Officer of Division One side Inter Allies, Delali Senaye has expressed his delight at his side’s impressive run in the Division One Promotional Play-offs.
Inter Allies have won their two matches so far against Okwahu United and Nania FC and a draw in their last match on Monday against Danbort FC will secure them a place in next season’s Premier League campaign.
Speaking to Citi Sports on Thursday, Mr. Senaye said that it had been a very challenging season but it was worth the effort.
“ I am glad our boys have been able to rise to the occasion. It was a really difficult task for us in Zone 3 but we made it. We are playing at the Baba Yara Stadium and the unfamiliarity of the venue makes things complex. We hope to finish the job on Monday.”
He praised the efforts of his players and the entire team for their good form leading to a place in the promotional play-off.
“ We had a good season in general but going through the second round undefeated was important for us. It prepared us well for the play-off we are playing now.”
He also thanked the fans of the team in Accra and Kumasi for their backing throughout the season and he promised them a good result that will send them into the elite division next season.
