Inter Allies picked a point in Obuasi with a 2-2 stalemate against New Edubiase at the Len Clay Stadium in mid-week’s First Capital Plus Premier League week 26 match.

Just few minutes after, Issah Yakubu scored the equalizer, his debut goal. Frederick Yamoah launched in a long throw from the left to Sheriff Mohammed, the latter set Issah who curled home beautifully on the 44th minute.

In the second half, Edubiase tried to replicate their first half attacking form but Inter Allies defence were resolute and helped the midfielders and strikers to attack.

With twenty minutes to end the game, Sheriff Deo Mohammed grabbed his 9th goal of the season with a very powerful header.

Fuseini Eliasu had caused the damage already by taking on three defenders starting and attack from the center, he passed to Lord Ofosuhene on the right and heĀ  launched a ‘delicious’ cross for Sheriff to head home.
