Inter Allies forward Evans Mensah scored to help the Ghana U20 team beat their Ethiopian counterparts 4-0 to progress to the final stage of the 2017 African Youth Championships qualifiers.

The second leg of the penultimate qualifier was played at the Cape Coast Stadium on Monday afternoon after it was rained off on Sunday.

The Satellites were 2-1 down from the first leg and had to win at all cost to ensure qualification to the next round and that’s what exactly happened.

Yaw Yeboah and Dauda Mohammed put Satellites 2-0 in less than 10 minutes into the match to unsettle the visitors.

Inter Allies talisman Evans Mensah added the third goal before Yaw Yeboah grabbed his brace to make it 4-0, 5-2 on aggregate to ensure qualification.

Ghana U-20 will face Senegal in the final stage of the qualifiers.

Goalkeeper Kwame Baah stood between the sticks and played the full throttle of the game and kept a clean sheet.

New signing, Enoch Adu was an unused substitute.
