Striker Mohammed Deo Sheriff has hit a purple patch in the First Capital Plus Premier League as he scored a brace in Inter Allies’ 2-0 home win over Aduana Stars.
The lanky striker who missed the first three matches of the season has gone on to reap an impressive four goals from four games after playing his first match of the season on match day four against Kotoko in Kumasi.
Virtually the club’s talisman so far this season, Sheriff has been voted twice by SuperSport as the man of the match during games involving New Edubiase and Aduana Stars respectively out of the three games played in the month of February.
Sheriff is building his awareness becoming more prolific with his goalscoring ability and is one of the most talked about players in the league.
The 21-year-old is over 6ft tall and has made his height count in the four goals he has scored.
He has notched three goals with his head and one with a high foot tap in.
Obviously, the team is profiting from confidence, continuity and creativity up front and is now fully established in Paa Kwesi Fabin’s side.
“A lot of work has gone into what we see today and I hope to score more to help the team,” Sheriff told www.interalliesfc.com.
“My target this season is to be the club’s top scorer and possible win the goal king at the end of the season.
“We (Inter Allies) have a strong side capable of beating anyone, we have a good technical team too plus the support of a reliable management.”
