Prosper Kasim nets consolation in Birmingham Legion’s defeat:
Attacker Prosper Kasim was on target for the hosts, Birmingham Legion but lost 1-2 to North Carolina in the USL Championship on Wednesday evening.
After 24 minutes, Nazmi Albadawi scored first for the visitors but a beautiful low cross from Razak Cromwell was neatly connected in by Prosper Kasim after recess levelled the score.
Three minutes later, A. Fortune converted a penalty to win all the three maximum points for the visitors at the BBVA Field in Birmingham, Alabama.
He was substituted on the 66th minute with Brian Wright replacing him.
Despite the defeat, Legion sit pretty top of Group G with 21 points after 11 matches.
