Eleven Is To One new signing Samuel Ayew Yeboah has promised the club fans and supporters to “watch out” for a new forward as he prepares to re-launch his career in the country for the upcoming season.
The 26-year-old former Black Stars midfielder who has returned to the club after leaving in 2005 heaps a lot praise on the club president and chairman for their continued support.
“Inter Allies fans should watch out for Samuel Ayew Yeboah, they know what am capable of, I have done it before, am back to make a hit and ready to play for Inter Allies FC,” he told Starr 103.5 FM in Accra on Monday afternoon.
He added: “I was with Inter Allies in 2005 and I should say this club are doing well professional-wise. They have been able to help a lot of young players to develop very well.
“The club president and chairman have been helpful and been there for me always so coming back home to play for them once again is a way to say thank you.”
Having played in all levels of the national teams Samuel Ayew Yeboah hopes a proper account of himself in the league with Inter Allies will propel and brighten his chances of returning to the national team.
“I have not lost the dream of playing for the Black Stars, my international debut game was against Tanzania we drew 1-1 in 2008 and currently I have two caps,” he said.
“I played for the local Black Stars in the 2009 CHAN finals we went to final and were beaten by DR Congo.
“I still have a chance if I do well here (Inter Allies FC) I think I can get the attention of the national team handlers once again.”
In 2008, while he was with Liberty Professionals, Ayew Yeboah scored 13 goals and felt he could have won the goal king just to see a more determined Eric Bekoe pass him to score 17 goals.
He feels he can have his prime days back and replicate those goals scoring moments and win the top scorer award.
Yeboah said: “The target I have for myself is to be able to be the club’s top scorer and the premier league top scorer as well, because I was almost there but Bekoe impressively took it.
“I wish I can help Inter Allies to improve on last season’s 6th position on the league table and push for a possible top four finish.”
