USL – Legion with bright start as Prosper Kasim powers his side to a 3-0 win.
It was a good night for Birmingham Legion on opening day with a comfortable 3-0 win over Memphis 901 at the BBVA Compas Field.
Proper Kasim who was the club’s top scorer and best player last year had a starting role once again, playing from the left side of attack.
The former Ghana U20 attacker created a lot openings for his side and assisted Bruno Lapa’s 41st minute goal, the club’s 3rd goal.
He lasted 82 minutes and was replaced by Braxton Taghvai Najib.
Legion FC hit the road now for their second match of the young season, at the Charleston Battery on Sunday.
