Citi Sports can confirm that a deal has been reached between Inter Allies and Granada for the release of midfielder Clifford Aboagye.
According to the CEO of Inter Allies club, Eric Delali Senaye, the player in already in Europe to finalise the deal with the club but he could not state the details of the move.
” Aboagye has signed for Granada after International Allies Football Club handed over his economic rights to the Spanish side.
His agents are currently holding discussions on personal terms with the team.
However, I cannot state the duration of the contract because that is up to the player and his agents.
I cannot also say how much is involved in terms of money”, Senaye told Citi Sports in an interview on Tuesday.
Senaye was pleased with the transfer because to him, it would help mould Aboagye to become a better player.
He also wished the player well in his future endeavours in Europe.
“The Spanish League is very good at growing players and I am sure that Clifford will benefit from going there.
We are happy for Clifford and we wish him well. We believe he will succeed where he is going.”
Clifford Aboagye was voted the third best best player in this year’s FIFA World Youth Championships in Turkey where Ghana won the bronze medal after beating Iraq.
