IAFC vice captain and defender Baba Mensah has revealed the team is on a revenge mission as they face WAFA on Saturday.

Inter Allies will make a short trip to the Volta Region, Sogakope to lock horns with West African Football Academy in the week 17 fixture of the 2014/15 First Capital Plus Premier League.

WAFA beat the ‘Eleven Is To One’ 1-0 at the Tema Sports Stadium in the reverse fixture – week 14, to end Inter Allies long home unbeaten run.

However, Baba Mensah insists the painful shock defeat has not left the memory of his boys and they are gunning for a revenge on Saturday.

“Our fantastic long home record was broken, our hearts were broken as well. We lost and it pained us more than anything,” Baba Mensah was referring to the reverse result.

“Now it’s time to prove our worth against WAFA, they beat us in the first round so it’s possible we can also beat them at their own backyard.”

“Yes, it’s revenge time and we will surely go and come with all three points.”
