Match Report: Cedar Stars 3-0 Dansoman Professionals.

Cedar Stars secured a convincing 3-0 victory against Dansoman Professionals in our Match week 23 match up of the 2023/2024 Greater Accra Regional FA Division Two League at the Adjiringanor Astro Turf.

The young Capelli lads started the match with a clear game plan, applying constant pressure and controlling the pace of the game from the outset.

The dominance paid off early as Bright Awitor found the net with a brilliant strike in the 7th minute.

The team continued to dictate the pace of the game, creating numerous chances and forcing Dansoman Professionals to defend deep.

Our efforts were rewarded again just before halftime when Salifu was brought down in the penalty area. Awitor stepped up and calmly converted the spot-kick, doubling our lead just before the break.

The second half saw the Forever green lads maintain their control of the match. The pressure was evident as bright was fouled inside the box resulting in another penalty in 55 minute.

The prolific winger again converted from the spot to complete his hat-trick and put the game beyond doubt for Dansoman Professionals.

Despite conceding three goals, Dansoman Professionals did show some fight in the latter stages of the match.

However, our defense held firm, with goalkeeper Sadiq making some crucial saves to secure a clean sheet.

This dominant performance sees our boys continue their impressive run in the league, With 3 three straight wins.
