Coach Felix Aboagye shared his thoughts after drawing 1-1 with Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.
We had to comeback from a goal down to salvage a point in the matchday 18 encounter.
Richard Arthur’s first goal for the Club earned a very vital point for us after Joseph Esso shot his side ahead from the spot.
Here is what Felix had to say after the match when he faced the media:
QUESTION – Would you say your game worked for you after drawing 1-1 with Dreams FC in Dawu?
Aboagye – I think it was a well-balanced game and we knew it was going to be a very difficult game because Dreams have been fantastic this season and so to pick a point here is not bad – we will work towards getting better and make sure we get three points from the next game.
QUESTION – First game in-charge and you pick a very vital point, how is this important for you going forward?
Aboagye – It’s very important for me because for the first time in my coaching career as head coach and Inter Allies has been fantastic for the past 2-3 years and it this points is an encouragement for the team. We want to build on this draw because its very important for us because a defeat could have killed our spirits.
QUESTION – Do you think adopting Dawu will be the best of decisions especially after playing Dreams FC today?
Aboagye – it’s also a plus for us since we are coming to adopt Dawu as our home grounds. We have seen our the terrain and make sure we make this place a fortress.
