Eliasu Fusieni picks positives out of the previous game against Ashanti Gold and looks forward to a better performance against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

The ‘Eleven Is To One’ drew 1-1 with the league leaders in mid week’s match day 18 fixture at the Tema Sports stadium.

The striker came off the bench in the 56th minute when Inter Allies were 1-0 down, four minutes later he scored the leveler.

Despite coming from a goal down to draw, Eliasu felt his side could have won the game after getting the equaliser.

“We still had belief that we could come back, at least to win. I think it showed in our play. Everybody stepped it up that much more after we went down.”

Inter Allies mounted series of intense pressure to get a winner after Eliasu’s goal but all opportunities for a further goal went futile.

“It was a little disappointing that we didn’t finish some of our chances — we were a little bit unlucky. But that’s the way the game goes,” he told www.interallies.com

Paa Kwesi Fabin’s men will now battle with giants Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in day 19 league match with what Eliasu hopes for a better performance from the previous one to bounce back to winning ways.

“We are thankful we picked a point on the road and that match is gone, we just have to look forward to the  next match against Hearts,” he added.

“They lost their previous game so they are wild, we beat them in the first round, they’re playing home too and it looks like all odds favour them but we are determined more.

“We are very positive as we need to fight harder. By doing that, there’s a reward involved.”
