Inter Allies registered first defeat in the Elite Cup with a humbling 3-1 defeat to Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The match which was played on Wednesday, was the match day three fixture of the competition and saw Olympics take sweet revenge.

Francis Mantey grabbed a brace in the first half and Kwame Boateng came off the bench to grab his team’s third, Wahab Ackwei in the last hour pulled one back from the spot to reduce deficit.

Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin took the opportunity to give some fringe players the chance to play their part this season and make a case for themselves.

Ishmael Aryee who signed from Amidaus, got his debut when he came from the bench for Asamoah George in the 76th minute.

Inter Allies now have four points from three games in the Elite Clubs Cup, after drawing 1-1 in Kpando against Heart of Lions, winning 1-0 in Tema against Liberty, then 3-1 defeat against Olympics in Accra.
