Enoch Adu was elated to get on the scoresheet for the first time in Inter Allies colours after joining on loan from Right To Dream Academy in the second round.

The Ghana U-20 player grabbed his debut goal in last Wednesday’s 2-0 win against Wa All Stars at the Tema Sports Stadium, opening the scoring with a well-taken finish.

Adu who has made four appearances since his arrival starting three and and coming off the bench once, hopes to get more goals to help the team win games.

“When you get your first professional goal and your team goes on and gets the win, you would expect a player to be happy, so I was happy.”

“It’s a great feeling. It was my first professional goal and it was a good one. Hopefully I’ll get a couple of more before the season ends,” he told www.interalliesfc.com

The tireless worker has become vital for the club’s survival campaign with last 8 league games left, as the right back was played in a little advanced role at right wing in the previous match.

He applauded the team’s effort and hopes the win against Wa All Stars last Wednesday propels the team to the next win when they meet Medeama SC on Sunday.

“It was a brilliant team performance. We looked really solid, from the back to the front. We’ve got a win on the board now but we’ve got to keep going and get another on Sunday.”
