Former Inter Allies star Clifford Aboagye shines for Ghana in the ongoing FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.

Now with Granada, the little magician had visa problems and missed Satellites 1-1 draw against Austria in the first Group B match on Saturday morning.

But he got his captain’s armband back and led the team to a magnificent 3-2 win over pre-tournament favorites Argentina on Tuesday morning.

The former Bronze Shoe winner assisted Benjamin Tetteh’s first goal and then scored a spectacular one in the second half and engineered the build up to Ghana’s third.

Aboagye’s impact was highly exhibited as his arrival in the team sparked the team to a blistering performance from the slow and dull game again Austria in the first leg.

In what looked like a man-of-the-match performance, Aboagye has just shown a matured display from what he showed in Turkey two years ago and will continue to do more as the tournament unfolds.
