Two former Inter Allies players Emmanuel Adjetey and Abdul Fatawu Safiu have been named in the USL’s team of the week, match day 16.

Full back Adjetey for Charleston Battery, was solid defensively and made good attacking runs down the left in the Battery’s draw with Rochester.

Striker Safiu who had a midfield role for Portland Timbers 2, sparked T2’s attack and scored a fine goal to lead his side to victory against Arizona.

He scored in the first half to give T2 the lead, but Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 rallied and scored two goals in the second half to secure a 2-1 win over Portland on Friday night in front of 1,128 fans at UBC Thunderbird Stadium.
