The Technical Department of Inter Allies has promoted 5 junior players from Accra Youth FC, the club’s youth team to the senior team for the 2016/17 season.

The five talented players are midfielders Desmond Abuga, Zakari Mohammed, Samuel Bekoe, defenders Emmanuel Kuzumah and Fard Ibrahim.

Interestingly all the 5 players featured for Accra Youth FC in last year’s Division Two league where they placed 4th after making it to the middle league the previous season.

Last season’s 2015/16 Ghana Premier League Most Promising Player was also one of four who were promoted from the youth side before the start of last season.

Each year, the club promote youth players who excelled and gained maturity to the senior squad.
Accra Youth FC has been a breeding ground for the senior side, Inter Allies.

It has produced several players like Gershon Koffie of Hammarby in Sweden and 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup bronze medallist Clifford Aboagye of Granada, now on loan at Atlas FC in Mexico.

Josepeh Aidoo, Lawson Sabah, Prosper Kasim and Patrick Kpozo were all promoted from Accra Youth to Inter Allies before being transferred to Europe last two seasons.

The Inter Allies current sqaud has goalkeeper Osei Kwame, Fredrick Yamoah, George Asamoah, Abdul Halik Hudu, Ismeal Ntefuni as products of Accra Youth.
