The Technical Department of Inter Allies has promoted four junior players from Accra Youth FC, the club’s youth team to their senior team for next season.

The four talented players are central midfielder Abdul Halik Hudu, forwards Ismeal Ntefuni, Haruna Seidu and winger David Tetteh.

Worth noting, all except David Tetteh featured for Accra Youth FC in last year’s Division Two league where they qualified for the middle league.

ABDUL HALIK HUDU:

A first year senior high school student, the youngster made 15 out of 16 appearance last season in the Second Division League with 2 goals. He’s a fantastic ball joggler who has vision in ball distribution. He is fast and skillful.

ISMEAL NTEFUNI:

Ismeal is a final year senior high student, plays all attacking positions from the left side through center forward to the right side of attack. He played 15 matches and scored 13 fantastic goals in the Greater Accra RFA Second Division League Zone 3.

HARUNA SEIDU:

Haruna played 13 matches with 12 goals and was very instrumental in the youth team’s campaign last season.

DAVID TETTEH:

David was scouted by the club’s Technical Director Willie Klutse and introduced him to Accra Youth last year and went through the development process.

Technical Director Willie Klutse: “In this club one of our trademarks is youth development and we have had these boys for less than two seasons with the youth team.”

“They were outstanding and we felt they deserve a shot at the senior team so that they start playing more competitive games and gain experience.”

“This is a great opportunity to test their strength and talent as part of the learning process.”

Each year, the club promote youth players who have excelled and gained maturity to the senior squad.

Accra Youth FC has been a breeding ground for the senior side, Inter Allies.

It has produced several players like Gershon Koffie of New England Revolution and 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup bronze medallist Clifford Aboagye of Granada.

Josepeh Aidoo, Lawson Sabah, Prosper Kasim, Fredrick Yamoah and Patrick Kpozo were all promoted from Accra Youth to Inter Allies before being transferred to Europe last season.

The Inter Allies current sqaud has goalkeeper Osei Kwame, Benjamin Prah, George Asamoah, Fuseini Eliasu and Lord Ofosuhene as products of Accra Youth.
