Inter Allies on Tuesday afternoon fell 2-1 to Premier League side Liberty Professionals in a pre-season friendly at the Tema Sports Stadium.

Kpozo scored the opener but the visitors rallied from a goal down to win 2-1 after the end of the final whistle.

Coach Yaw Acheampong continued to fine-tune his side prior to the commencement of the new season testing a new strike partnership of Talla Ndiaye, Fatawu Safiu and Fredrick Boateng.

With both sides displaying possessive and similar exciting beautiful football, the match kicked off with a very bright start.

The trio mentioned earlier combined in the 13th minute to open an opportunity but Daniel Adjei coolly collected their effort.

Left-back Patrick Kpozo’s solo effort on the 30th minute mark opened the scoring after the Eleven Is To One dominated possession and controlled the game.

The visitors responded with the equaliser 10 minutes after going behind from a defensive blunder. They finally notched the winner 17 minutes from time to grab the win.

In what looked like a good exercise for both sides, coach Yaw Acheampong and his technical team will continue to correct the mistakes and prepare the team well before the start of league season.
