Young goalkeeper Mustapha Odam reveals he’s relishing his time at Inter Allies, getting more confidence in the posts following his FA Cup heroics last Sunday.
The 18-year-old saved one penalty kick and his antics in the posts scared Proud United players to play wide two of their kicks as Inter Allies won 3-1 on penalties after both side were tied 1-1 after regulation time.
He told www.interalliesfc.com: “It’s not been that easy since I joined, the competition here is very keen with a lot of talents – quality squad.
“It’s always a good time when I get the opportunity to be in the posts, am trying my best to establish myself in the team as am getting more confidence now.”
Odam joined the ‘Eleven Is To One’ at the end of last season on a free transfer and has made two official appearances for the club but believes he’s gathering momentum as he’s trying to establish himself in the team.
