Inter Allies head coach Yaw Acheampong claims he is “satisfied” with his side’s performance, despite losing 1-2 to a Dansoman Select Side led by former Black Stars forward Godwin Attram.

Patrick Kpozo’s deflected equaliser later proved to be a consolation after the visitors scored twice in the second half to mark our eighth game in the pre-season.

“Aside from the result I think we played a good match today. It was a fantastic team for from the players they gave 100% and didn’t stop attacking right to the end of the match – which is a good thing,” Acheampong told www.interalliesfc.com

“The technical team had a plan and after seeing that achieved we were extremely satisfied. We have improved in our game and created several chances and could have buried the game in the first half, only our finishing let us down.

The coach was also pleased with the effort of his substitutes but knows the team still has some work to be done when playing out of the back under pressure.

“I was highly impressed with the changes I made, those that came in continued what we started straight away, we held possession very well,” he added.

“We have now seen how to defend against tougher opponents, this match was a really good test.”
Acheampong rued loss of concentration in his backline during the late minutes in the game and was disappointed how the goal was conceded.

“The only real disappointment was the way we gave the last goal away, it was a terrible mistake and that would be corrected.”

This defeat is Eleven Is To One’s first defeat in this year’s pre-season.
