Inter Allies duo of vice captain Joseph Aidoo and talisman Prosper Kassim helped the Ghana U20 side beat Sierra Leone at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Saturday in an African Youth Championship.
The Black Satellites who had a 2-0 win the first leg needed only a positive result in the leg second leg to qualify to the next stage of the 2015 African Youth Championship qualifier.
They came from a goal down to beat their counterparts from Sierra Leone 2-1 after the visitors took the lead in the 37th minute.
Thomas Agyapong and substitute Latif Abubakari scored in each half to ensure the Satellites win 2-1 on the day and 4-1 on aggregate, they will now face Gabon in the next and final round of the qualification.
Kassim and Aidoo who were influential in the first leg also replicated their fantastic performances once again. Both players played the entire duration of the match in their respective positions.
Aidoo was the master man at the heart of defense and controlled the back of the Satellites with a good job.
Kassim also was upfront troubling the defense of Sierra Leone in the entire duration and was influential in both goals.
