Abdul Fatawu Safiu continued his fine form in pre-season as Inter Allies thrashed Tamale Utrecht Academy (Ghana) 5-2 in a friendly match played at the Lizzy Sports Complex on Friday afternoon.

During the match that drew a quite number of football fans, the Eleven Is To One enjoyed a lion share of possession and dominated the whole department of the game.

Safiu grabbed his brace just five minutes into game with another striker hitting a fine form in the pre-season Talla Ndiaye, adding the third on the 33rd minute.

Mutala pulled one back to make it 3-1 before the break.

Head coach Yaw Acheampong made a wholesome change with the entire starting eleven being replaced by another set for the second half.

The Division One side proved to be a hard nut to crack when they reduced the deficit with Osman getting the second making it 3-2, five minutes into the second half.

On the 77th minute mark, Patrick Bortey with a fine finish made it 4-2 before new signing Alan Shearer lobbed a ball over the keeper to register the 5th goal.

Inter Allies will resume training on Monday as the pre-season continues.
