Isaac Twum features in Black Meteors 4-0 win over Gabon
IK Start midfielder Isaac Twum had his share of game time for Ghana U23 in their 4-0 win over Gabon at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Twum saw the last 15 minutes of the match where he replaced Joseph Paintsil in the 75th minute when the score was 2-0 with Kwabena Owusu (15th) and Bernard Tekpetey (47th) getting the goals.
The midfielder immediately stamped his authority and controlled the pace of the game from the middle.
Osman Bukari also scored twice to seal victory for Meteors in a very comfortable fashion.
The first leg of the final round of the U23 Africa Cup of Nations was played in front of an impressive crowd and now they have their heads up above the sea.
The team heads into the second leg on Tuesday with cushion and high hopes of qualifying for the tournament.
