Head Coach Prince Owusu is confident Inter Allies will recover from the defeat against Aduana Stars and bounce back to winning ways.

Prince Owusu insists his young team can handle their setback as their shock defeat to the league leaders leaves them a point above the drop zone.

Isaac Twum scored from a free kick on the brink of half time but Aduana Stars came from behind to win 2-1 at the El Wak Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

“It’s a big blow to us because we surrendered our lead, all the same it’s good as we’ll surely learn from our mistakes and bounce back strongly,” Prince Owusu said.

“We played very well in the first half. This defeat hurts me personally because we allowed Aduana Stars to force their own game on us.”

“We were not better after the break we didn’t show up and that’s bad, this is a set back, but we can handle it.”

Inter Allies will make a short trip to the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday to play Great Olympics, a game which Prince Owusu would want to make amends.
