Joseph Baffour Gyawu was crowned the NASCO man of the match in our 2-0 win over Liberty Professionals on Wednesday at the Cape Coast Stadium in the week three fixture.
The midfielder bagged a brace in a space of four minutes in the second half to ensure Allies grabbed all three points.
Gyawu who started for the first time had a stellar performance bossing the midfield with Mohammed Zakari and Michel Otou.
The midfielder first picked the ball from a defensive blunder and slotted it in nicely, giving the goalkeeper no chance on the 57th minute.
Gyawu again forced a free kick past the wall and the goalkeeper in the 61st minute to dent Liberty’s hope of getting the equalizer.
The award was presented by Ghana Football Association Executive Committee Member, Wilfred Kwaku Osei who was the Match Commsioner.
