Inter Allies return to the Tema Sports Stadium on Wednesday, June 17th for week 18 fixture against league leaders AshantiGold.

The miners won 2-0 in the reverse fixture at Obuasi and now sit on top of the league with 33 points.

Inter Allies have had a difficult moment and are still without a win after week 12 match against giants Hearts of Oak in Tema.

Despite not losing in the two games played so far in this round, the ‘Eleven Is To One’ are desperately looking to bounce back to winning ways with a win over the miners.

There have been several good news this week, from injury boosts to national team players returning.

Sulley Mohammed and Imoro Adams who have been on the sidelines returned to full scale training earlier this week, both players have shown instant progress in their progress from injury and are in top form.

Black Satellites being knocked out from the ongoing U20 World Cup in New Zealand means Inter Allies will have their players for the tournament back.

Captain Joseph Aidoo and Patrick Kpozo returned to full training on Monday and were on present at Tuesday’s training as well, making selection problem for coach Paa Kwesi Fabin.


Inter Allies have never lost to Ashanti Gold at the Tema Sports Stadium, the last time both side met in Tema, ‘Eleven Is To One’ won 2-0.

However, this season Ashanti Gold have beaten Inter Allies twice 2-0 and 2-1 in the League and FA Cup respectively.

Both sides have met thrice in the league, Inter Allies have recorded a win, a draw and a defeat.
