‪Inter Allies were beaten 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium by Asante Kotoko in match day 2 fixture of the on-going Ghana Premier League.‬

‪Second half goal on the 53rd minute by Obed Owusu registered the Eleven Is To One their first defeat of the season.‬

‪Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi made 3 changes to the side that beat Bechem United 3-0 at the Tema Sports stadium last weekend.

‪Paul Abanga, Samuel Ekele and Abdul Nassiru Hamzah replaced Fuseini Ibrahim, Issahaku Zakari and George Amonoo in the starting XI.

‪The Porcupines forced the Capelli Boys to sit back at the early embers of the game with their high pressing game.‬

‪They created some chances but Kwame Baah and the defenders dealt with the threats and opportunities that fell for the hosts.‬

‪Allies warmed into the game after a quarter of an hour gone, Victorien Adebayor went close twice scoring but Felix Annan thwarted his efforts.‬

‪The Capelli Boys held on to a goalless draw at half time. ‬

‪The second half kicked off on a bad note for Allies, Obed Owusu on the 53rd minute connected Emmanuel Gyamfi’s cross.‬

‪Kotoko looked the better side after getting the goal but Allies proved to be stubborn with relentless stamina.‬

‪Nsungusi Effiong Jnr who came on for Samuel Armah at halftime could have grabbed the equalizer on the 57th minute.‬

‪Few minutes later the young striker flew again another chance before hitting one straight at the goalkeeper in chances to bag the leveler.‬

‪Despite several attempts to get the equalizer, the Porcupines held their back tight and won the game 1-0.‬

‪Goalkeeper Felix Annan (Kotoko) was named the man of the match.‬
