Another away point earned, Inter Allies drew 1-1 with Bolga All Stars at the Utrecht Academy Park in Tamale in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Abubakari Latif’s own goal in the early embers of the game was cancelled by his teammate Ibrahim Giyasu fifteen minutes later as the second half produced no goals.

Coach Prince Owusu made changes to his side that beat WAFA SC 1-0 at the El Wak Stadium in their last league game played.

Martin Antwi was benched for Isaac Twum, Haruna Shaibu also returned to the line up after some time as the major changes made to the side.

It was the perfect beginning for Allies, the hosts failed to settle and were punished quickly in the third minute.

Isaac Twum’s cross from the right found no other but Latif Abubakari who headed straight to his own net after miscommunication with the goalkeeper.

Bolga didn’t lose hope, their performance shot up instead after going down and were rewarded in the 18th minute.

Fuseini Ganiu sent a teasing cross from the left, Allies defenders failed to clear and Ibrahim Giyasu slotted home coolly the leveler.

Inter Allies enjoyed the greater share of possession in the second half but failed to turned possession to goals, the game ended 1-1.

Ibrahim Giyasu of Bolga All Stars was named the NASCO Man of the Match, he scored his side’s only goal of the game.

The result means Inter Allies still lie 9th on the league log with 21 points after 17 matches played.
