Inter Allies restarted the second round of the 2014/15 First Capital Plus Premier League with a 1-1 draw against Berekum Chelsea at the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Eleven Is To One who lost the reverse fixture 2-1 in Berekum where determined to make amends in Tema and looked like they were on course as Sheriif Deo Mohammed struck first in the 31st minute, it kept Inter Allies through until Latif Salifu broke hearts on the 85th minute with the equalizer.
Coach Paa Kwesi handed vice captain Baba Mensah the nod to pair with youngster Wahab Ackwei in defence, Faisal Mohammed and Abass Mohammed were deployed to right and left back respectively.
Osei Kwame returned to the posts as well. Emmanuel Nettey and Niare Benogo were the central midfielders, Lord Ofosuhene and Fredrick opoku Yamoah were on the right and left flanks respectively, leaving Sheriff Moahammed and Elliasu Fusieni upfront in a 4-4-2 formation.
With much anticipation and a calm atmosphere, the exciting game kicked off on a very favorable note for Inter Allies. Paa Kwesi Fabin’s men took the game to the visitors making it difficult for them to settle down.
A lot of questions were asked and Inter Allies could have gone up earlier after Sheriff Mohammed saw his free header well saved by the goalkeeper.
Deservedly, Sheriff Mohammed made amends, corrected the first mistake and scored from a header. On the 31st minute, Fredrick Opoku Yamoah had a solo run from the left side and launched a long cross for Sheriff Mohammed to grab his 7th goal of the season.
Yamoah with the assist recorded his 6th assist of the season so far.
The Eleven Is To One held on to the slender lead till the break. They continued from where they left in the first half, but this time Berekum Chelsea were a little bit open and also had some chances to draw level, but Inter Allies goalkeeper Osei Kwame saved their opportunities.
When it looked set for Inter Allies to secure all three points, substitute Latif Salifu on the 85th minute scored to cancel the Eleven Is To One’s solitary lead. The visitors withdrew their arsenals and held till the end of the match.
The match which was the opening match of the second round for both sides, takes Inter Allies to 10th on the League table with 21 points whiles Berekum Chelsea are 6th with 23 points.
