MATCH REPORT – INTER ALLIES 0-0 DREAMS FC:

The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season commenced on a slow pace for the  Eleven IS To One Boys, drawing goalless with Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday night.

A match that saw both sides create a lot of goal scoring chances ended surprisingly with no goal.

Coach Henrik Lehm named four debutants (goalkeeper Rashid Seidu, Isah Ali, Chauncy Freeman and Michael Kporvi) in the starting eleven with Emmanuel Adjetey making his second debut.

Paul Abanga and Fard Ibrahim started on the right and left sides of defense respectively. Hashmin Musah led the team and was at the heart of defense together with Isah Ali.

Desmond Abuga, Richmond Lamptey. Alex Aso and Emmanuel Adjetey controlled the midfield leaving Chauncy Freeman and Michael Kporvi on top.

On a strong foot the boys fired hopes of scoring in the early embers of the match, Freeman Chauncy sent a serving cross for Michael Kporvi who just shot into the arms of the goalkeeper.

A couple more came the way of Chauncy Freeman and Alex Aso however both strikers fluffed their chances and gave the visitors spaces to build their confidence.

Dreams FC warmed into the game and dominated the last quarter of the first half but it was after recess where they showed more bite up front.

They dominated largely the half but missed a lot of goal scoring opportunities with substitute striker Abel Manomey missing from open-net.

With the visitors fluffing chances, we were also firing our openings away. Alex Aso and Collins Kudjoe came close to the opener but their shots at goal were either parried away by the goalkeeper or went over the bar.

The game was exciting with a lot of chances, but both teams were not separated and the spoils were shared.
