Inter Allies beat Sekondi Hasaacas 2-0 to move up on the First Capital Plus Premier league table with fourth straight win.

Baba Mensah scored his second league goal from the spot in the 4th minute and 15 minutes later Fuseini Eliasu scored his third of the season to kill the visitors.

Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin made only two changes to his squad that won 2-0 over BA United last Saturday.

Issah Yakubu replaced Gockel Ahortor in midfield and Sheriff Deo Mohammed also replaced Fuseini Eliasu upfront.

It didn’t take long and Inter Allies made their intentions known. Ropapa Mensah had a chance to open the scoring but he’s effort to beat his marker was blocked.

Just a minute later, the striker again collected a pass from the midfield and put his colleague striker Sheriff Mohammed through on goal.

Sheriff was brought down in the box by Hasaacas goalkeeper Samuel Akurugu after rounding him to give the referee the easiest of decisions, penalty! He pointed to the spot.

Baba Mensah who had scored his debut goal through the spot two weeks ago, stepped up and made no mistake by sending the goalkeeper the wrong way, 1-0.

An early goal that should have been an awakening call for the visitors rather unsettled them. Fifteen minutes after Baba Mensah’s opener Inter Allies scored again.

Sheriff Deo Mohammed had been injured and replaced by Fuseini Eliasu, the latter took just eight minutes to announce his presence.

Emmanuel Nettey launched a deceiving through ball above the Hasaacas defenders only for the substitute striker, Eliasu Fuseini to head home coolly, 2-0.

The “Eleven Is To One” held on to the comfortable 2-0 lead until the end of the mandatory first half break.

Coming from the recess, Inter Allies never felt complacent and attack all through to the half.

Ropapa Mensah in the early embers of the second department, failed to get the ball at the back of the net after beating his marker.

He then went close to his third of the season, however his curling shot kept rising and went over the bar.

Niare Benogo had come on in the 86th minute, he also blasted a free kick narrowly wide from just outside the penalty box.

Despite dominating the second half entirely, no goals were added to the tally and Inter Allies grabbed fourth straight win comfortably.
