Yet another away defeat, Inter Allies conceded late in the game to record second defeat of the season, losing 1-0 at the home of the Champions to Wa All Stars.

Antwi Kwame Amoako headed straight at the hands of Paul Abanga, Wahidu Mumuni slotted in from the spot nicely to win it for the home side.

Coach Prince Owusu made a single change to the side that beat Ebusua Dwarfs in the previous game, Fard Ibrahim made his starting debut in place of Abass Mohammed.

David Abagna rattled the cross bar in the opening minutes for the home side to make intentions known to the visitors.

Not an exciting half as the first 45 minutes ended goalless, even though the home side had asked some questions against a resolute away team.

The second department of the game wasn’t far from the first half, both sides dominated and had some moments of chances but both sides failed to score.

When all looked set for the blast of the referee’s whistle, a penalty was awarded to the home side. Antwi Kwame Amoako in an attempt to clear his lines headed straight at Paul Abanga’s left hand.

The decision was simple for the referee to take, Wahidu Mumuni fired hard to the roof of the top corner to seal victory for the home side, late in injury time.
