Match Summary – Inter Allies 2-0 Elmina Sharks – Dawu:

We bounced back to winning ways with a hard-fought victory over Elmina Sharks – matchday 23 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

Two second-half goals from Samuel Armah and Andy Okpe gave us the three maximum points at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

Fard Ibrahim and Ivan Anokye Mensah were back to the starting lineup, Emmanuel Igwe was handed his debut game since joining the club.

After we made an early incursion, it’s the visitors who had the lion share of possession and some decent chances at goal until half time.

But it was a different story in the second half, just a minute after recess we were awarded a penalty.

Alex Aso was brought down in the box and Samuel Armah slotted home perfectly from the spot in the 49th minute.

Samuel Armah nearly doubled our with a close-range tap in the 69th minute but the flag was up.

Alex Aso was a tormentor and was once again brought down in the box – another penalty for us.

This time, Andy Okpe elected himself and doubled the lead with two minutes left on the clock, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.

Our attacker, Alex Aso was named the NASCO Man of the match.
