Inter Allies returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Accra Young Wise at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

From drawing the last two games (0-0 Golden Kick, 0-0 Accra City Stars), Allies had high hopes of scoring high marks on Friday afternoon.

The match started on a good note for the Capelli Boys with Solomon Antonio going close to the opener twice in the first ten minutes.

With a couple of chances gone begging, Allies finally scored on the brink of half time.

Fullback Issah Hadir headed home from a corner kick to give us the lead, his first goal for the club.

Allies held on to the slender lead until the mandatory halfway break.
The energy didn’t drop as the visitors failed to hold the high flying attackers of the hosts.

Just three minutes after the break, Kwabena Kalala Dannful slotted home our second to give us the much needed cushion.

Allies deservedly were rewarded a penalty in the 75th minute, an opportunity to extend our lead but Alex Aso missed that opportunity.

When all thought Allies were running away with a 2-0 win, Patrick Amarh failed to control the ball in the box and ended in our net.

Inter Allies won the Division One League match day 23 fixture against Accra Young Wise 2-1 at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.
