Match Summary – Inter Allies 2-3 Elmina Sharks – Accra:

Inter Allies FC suffered their first home defeat of the season to Elmina Sharks after a five-goal thriller at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Goals from Victorien Adebayor and Samuel Armah proved little as the vistors scored three past Allies to seal all three points.

Coach Tonny Lokko made three changes from the previous game injection of Kingsley Braye and Frank Asinki and dropping Desmond Abuga and Enerst Adu to the bench.

The visitors struck first in the 10th minute after Benjamin Tweneboah connected a rebound from Michael Ocloo’s shot.

Just two minutes after going behind, Kingsley Braye thought he had levelled for the home side but his strike was wrongly ruled out for offside by the officials.

Inter Allies’ dominance throughout the first half finally paid off as captain of the day, Victorien Adebayor grabbed his third goal of the season on the stroke of half-time.

The Eleven Is To One lads went behind for the second time in the game after Benjamin Bernard Boateng beat George Apronti at his near post in the 64th minute.

The game was put beyond the home side three minutes later after a brilliant finish from Raphael Ocloo in the box.

It was game on in the next minute with Samuel Amarh heading home Adebayors cross to reduce the deficit for Allies.

Inter Allies failed to make the last-gasp pressure count as they were profiligate infront of goal.

Inter Allies have now lost twice on the bounce after the game ended 3-2 at full time.

Victorien Adebayor was named the NASCO Man of the Match.
