Inter Allies suffered third defeat in row in the GFA Normalization Special Competition, losing 2-0 to Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Two second half goals from Robert Sowah Addo and Joseph Esso after goalkeeper Saed Salifu had been shown a very controversial red card early in the half helped down the Capelli Boys.

There were some few changes in the team with regards to the previous game, Paul Abanga, Alex Aso and Samuel Armah returned to the starting XI.

Mohammed Zakari made the bench for the first time whilst Fuseini Mohammed and Ishmael Otutey were dropped to the bench.

Allies commenced the game with a lot early chances which Michel Otou felt he should have won himself a penalty after he was pushed down in the box after two minutes.

A half full of competition from both sides saw the half end with no goals despite both teams missing glorious chances.

The story changed in the second half and everything went in favor of the hosts. Saed Salifu was sent off after he was adjudged to have handled the ball outside the box.

Hearts with the numerical advantage got their reward after mounting some pressure. Robert Sowah Addo headed home from a corner kick in the 55th minute.

The Capelli Boys never gave up and showed much better performance after going down  but their energy failed produce a goal.

With 7 minutes left of the clock, Hearts completed a successful counter attacking move with Joseph Esso finishing it with a very fine goal to nail it for Hearts.

He was named the man of the match.
