Head Coach Tony Lokko has expressed admiration for the players’ tactical discipline in their 3-0 win over Eleven Wonders away from home.

The gaffer claimed his first away win of the season at the Ohene Ameyaw Park on Wednesday and admitted he is “a happy man” after claiming the valuable points.

“It was a defensive masterclass from the team. The players played good football and were tactically disciplined throughout the game. It is a great feeling to win away from home. And as a coach, you are happy when you win so I am today.”

The result means the Capelli Boys recorded a first clean sheet of the season. Coach Lokko was full of praise for the organization on the pitch.

“We came into the game with a 4-4-2 system to make sure we were balanced defensively and to also supply our two target men. It worked perfectly in the first half and we got a goal. We played a compact game in the middle so that we don’t concede and that helped us maintain our balance and guaranteed our win.”

Inter Allies will return to the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday against Legon Cities as they seek to maintain a recent run of good results.
