Head Coach Rashid Iddi reveals he’s satisfied with the performance of the promoted players so far in the NC Special Competition.

After match day two of the ongoing competition, six promoted players out of eight have had their full debuts with five having played both games.

The gaffer extended much of the praises to the Club’s Technical Director Willie Klutse who promoted the players from Cedar Stars Academy – Allies’ youth and Development side.

“I came to meet them (promoted players) training with the senior team upon the request of the technical director before I resumed my post.”

“They were good for my plans so I accepted them in the first team and I must say they’ve done extremely well with what I’ve seen from them so far.”

Rolland Addi, Ishmael Otutey, Clement Aryee, Gideon Asoandzie, Alex Aso, Patrick Amarh, Abdallah Warris and Abraham Okyere were promoted before the end of last year.

With the exception of Gideon Asoandzie (who’s) and Abraham Okyere (who’s seen both games from the bench), the rest have had a feel of full game time.

Inter Allies have shared spoils in the first two games (0-0 v Elmina Sharks in Tema and 1-1 WAFA SC in Sogakope) of the competition and will lock horns with Liberty Professionals in Dansoman on Sunday.
