‪Back to winning ways against the Academy Boys at the Tema Sports Stadium.‬

‪Inter Allies beat WAFA SC 1-0 on a calm and friendly Sunday afternoon to mark 2017/18 Ghana Premier League week 5 encounter.‬

‪Victorien Adje Adebayor scored in the early minutes of the second half and ensured the ‘Eleven Is To One’ returned to winning ways.‬

‪Kenichi handed goalkeeper Saed Salifu his first game of the season, Richmond Lamptey returned to the line up to face his former side for the first time.‬

‪On a very quick and lightening pace the match started with high pace and intensity, WAFA SC had Richard Danso tormenting Inter Allies defence in the early minutes.‬

‪Victorien Adje Adebayor and Abdul-Nassiru Hamzah added flair and fluidity in Allies’ attack as both attackers caused problems for the visitors.‬

‪Despite both sides showing intent and much aggression upfront, the back of the goal eluded them in the first half, WAFA went close twice, same as Allies.‬

‪Interestingly, the Capelli Boys returned much stronger after the recess and were playing better than the first half.‬

‪Victorien Adje Adebayor scored his 3rd league goal from a freekick on the 46th minute, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.‬

‪Inter Allies held on to the slender lead and pushed for the cushion but Richmond Ayi stood between Inter Allies and their second goal.‬

‪Allies captain Hashmin Musah was sent off in added on time for a rough tackle, they finished the game with 10 men.‬

‪The goal tally stood the same and the Capelli Boys bounced back to winning ways.‬

‪Umar Basiru (WAFA) was named the NASCO man of the match.‬
