It’s 5 out of 5 as two first half goals from Talla Ndiaye and substitute Samuel Ayew Yeboah ensured Inter Allies FC beat Cantonments FC 2-1 at the Lizzy Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon.

In what looked like an awakening rivalry between both sides started with hard tackles and rough play which produced early cautioning and bookings.

With the lion share of possession in the early minutes, the division two side dominated and created more scoring opportunities but Osei Kwame pulled wonderful saves to deny them the opener and kept the Eleven Is To One in the game.

A first half sub from the technical bench saw Mohammed Sheriff go out for Samuel Ayew Yeboah who made an instant impact.

He received a pass from Lawson Sabah from the middle and spread a nice pass to Talla Ndiaye who sent a powerful left-footed drive from 30 yards to open the scoring after 37 minutes.

Six minutes later, Youssouf Kabore who was controlling the middle played Samuel Ayew Yeboah through on goal, the latter made it so simple with a “cool-chop” finish to make it 2-0 before the break.

A total squad were paraded during the break and just like the first half, Cantoments FC once again dominated and this time yielded a result, a-well worked equalizer.

Inter Allies FC have now recorded 100% victories in the preseason with 5 wins, 17 goals scored and one conceded.
