Summary – Berekum Chelsea 1-0 Inter Allies – Berekum:

We recorded another defeat on the road on Sunday, succumbing 1-0 to Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park in Berekum.

Paul Agyei Attah’s 13th minute strike won the match week 8’s encounter for the home side and handed Danijel Mujkanovic his first defeat and our fifth of the season.

Seven tactical changes were made to the side that beat Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium last weekend.

Gideon Ahenkorah was handed his first start of the season with Richard Acquaah also getting a place in the line up.

Paul Abanga was paired in defence, replacing Ali Isah. Also, Nafiu Sulemana was also handed a starting role upfront with Mohammed Zakari.

It was a very sunny day but good condition for football when the referee blew his whistle for the start of the match.

We had the best of starts and settled quickly. We dominated largely the early embers of the game and had some decent chances at goal.

The hosts shook off our early scare and pounced. Paul Agyei Attah was fortunate to be clear on a rebound and curled in a beautiful goal after 13 minutes.

We made several attempts to get the equaliser but Chelsea had a very good goalkeeper who made sure we had no goal in the match.

With just 10 minutes left, we went very close to the equaliser, Fard Ibrahim sent a perfect cross which was nicely met by Nafiu Sulemana but the woodwork denied us.

We kept pushing for the late equaliser but the back of the net eluded us.

Chelsea attacker Paul Agyei Attah was named the NASCO Man of the match.
