Match Summary – Inter Allies 2-0 Karela – Dawu:

It was a much needed win for the Capelli Boys who defeated Karela United at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu to clear match day 19 fixture of the on going 2020/21 season.

Two beautiful second half goals from our strikers Nafiu Sulemana and Samuel Armah earned us the three maximum points in an exciting encounter.

The technical team made two changes to the side that drew with Dreams FC last week, Paul Abanga and Fard Ibrahim replaced Ivan Anokye Mensah and Isah Ali respectively.

Nothing drew us back in the early embers of the game – it was total dominance but we didn’t make that count with the chances that came during that period.

Our attackers Nafiu Sulemana, Samuel Armah and Richard Arthur all went close to the getting the opener for us but the visitors had a very good goalkeeper in posts.

They stood their grounds and pushed us back with some decent chances until the mandatory first half break.

Karela continued their good display after recess but we slowed them down and killed their spirits with series of attacks.

Andy Okpe who had come on for Richard Arthur, combined with Richmond Lamptey to put Nafiu Sulemana through, he slotted home his 4th of the season nicely with twenty minutes left.

We kept on pushing and twelve minutes after going up we were awarded a penalty after Nafiu Sulemana was brought down in the box.

Samuel Armah stepped forward and placed it calmly to double our lead.

Both sides failed to add to the tally and we had a perfect start to life in Dawu.

Richmond Lamptey was named the NASCO Man of the match.
