Match Summary – Liberty Professionals 2-2 Inter Allies – Dansoman:

We picked our first point on the road in a 2-2 draw with Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman on Sunday afternoon.

Even though we opened the scoring in the first half, we had to comeback from 2-1 down to salvage a point in the matchday 14 encounter.

Nafiu Sulemana and Hashmin Musahd scored in both halves – Stanley Aniagyei Ampaw and Abraham Wayo scored in-between our goals in the second half.

Felix Abuska replaced Kingsley Braye in the starting XI as changes from the previous league match where we lost to Ebusua Dwarfs in Accra.

It was a fairly balanced game before we got the opener after 22 minutes. Nafiu Sulemana was at the right place at the right time to connect a corner kick from the left side.

The goal lifted some weight off our shoulders but triggered the home side to dominate us with more pressure. With excessive pressure on us, we were firm at the back till the break.

Their pressure paid off in the second half, after 68th minutes. Stanley Aniagyei Ampaw received a pass from the middle and launched a rocket to the top corner leaving Gideon Ahenkorah with no chance.

Two minutes after the leveler, Liberty won a penalty and Abraham Wayo made no mistake and shot his side in front.

But when it looked like yet another defeat, Hashmin Musah made sure we left Dansoman with a little smile.

The substitute headed home nicely from a corner kick late in the game (5 minutes into injury time).

Abrahem Wayo (Liberty) was named the NASCO Man of the match.
