Summary – VRFA D2 League – Manya Red Lions 1-1 Inter Allies – Battor

It was good to be back on the field a couple of weeks after the end of the first round of games, to continue, with the second round of the Adonai Estate Volta Division Two League.

A very difficult afternoon for the Eleven Is To One who had to fight back from g goal down to salvage a point at the RC Park in Battor.

Pegged back halfway through the first half, the boys were left chasing the game where they had to survive a few goalscoring chances.

However the story changed in the second half, it had a different story altogether as the Capelli Boys became purposeful with attacking football.

Abubakar Lartey slotted home the equalizer beautifully after carefully receiving a through pass on goal, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way with his effort.

The spoils were shared once again, as the match ended 1-1, keeping the unbeaten run intact.

The lads will be back in action again on Sunday at 1 pm against Trinity Stars at the Battor RC Park.
