Team Inter Allies continued preparations for the final set of First Capital Plus Premier League games with two friendly matches on Tuesday afternoon at the Tema Sports Stadium.
It was a double header with the first team and the reserves having their share of play in both games, a very wet Tuesday afternoon but the players had no excuses to ignore the games.
The first game was between the reserves with a couple of seniors and a popular second division side, Cheetahs FC. After the full time whistle of 30 minutes in each half, the game ended in a goalless draw.
The second game was made of solely the first team players as the training game was against city rivals Tema Youth, a team that went close to returning to the Premier League this season.
Tema Youth took the lead just few minutes into the second half and as if Inter Allies were about to lose the game, George Asamoah slotted home the equaliser before the final whistle, ended 1-1.
